Open House : Farah

I enjoy the festive holidays...it brings us even closer 2gether..friends from every corner of the world Malaysia particularly gather in one single house to meet and greet...it doesnt matter wether they're from the far corners of perak (MCKK) or even in the middle of great historic places (Tun Ghafar Baba)...they came and answered the call...the call of raya..I just came back from Ipoh but I still made time to come to her house, for raya is not about the food or the money its about forming a union with people u never met or even strenghtening the bonds of friendship that u have wit those special people we call our friends

1st D.O.R

With every great event, comes an even greater story to tell..Eid, wat is Eid? , Eid is an event where muslims celebrate after 30 days and 29 nights of fasting in the ramadhan month restraining themselves from eating, drinking, and other "stuffing things in ur body" practices...its always mandatory to wake up early on the 1st D.O.R (Day Of Raya) and wear ur nicest clothes and make urselves look tidy and presentable in public...it always starts off with the eating of breakfast...menu for breakfast on this day is somewhat special it includes a variety of dishes including rendang, lemang, and other raya based food...after that its a trip to the mosque for Eid prayers 2 rakaat only...after that its sky the limits on activities...you could go raya ur frens house or even sit at home doing nothing...yes raya is a most enjoyable festival and i truly enjoyed it..and what is a great story without a great pic :D ...Selamat Hari Raya everyone

Raya Ruckus

Arghhh its supposed to be a holiday! holidays are supposedly fun and exciting...the freedom, the wind in ur face feeling...but tis time its not! Raya or Eid is just around the corner already and im not enjoying it one bit...everytime i see one of those smarmy Eid commercials i just wanna put an axe through the TV...how could those kids in the TV haf so much fun and i dont? Bah...of course its got to do with the S.............P......................M factor +_+ ....but as a once famous englishman once said "all work and no play, makes jack a dull2 boy" ...just let me do somethin besides pouring into the books...Raya Reformation? i call it Raya Ruckus :(

Prayers In The Dark

It started out like any other night...i stepped out of my house door and entered the outside realm...cold air rushed through my face rattling my very soul, it just finished raining and the air was moist...i turned the key thrusted in my doorknob, with an all to familiar click the door was locked...heaving out a the heaviest sigh ever i spun around and stepped into my car...as i sat in the car, droplets from the previous downpour were still falling at the window...the car skidded to a halt at the gates of the mosque...I stepped in and was greeted by familiar faces! Illiya Danials , Amin and Shazwan were sitting at a corner in the mosque watching videos and looking at pics...I stepped up into them and gave each of them a curtful nod and shook thier hand...so I sat down with them and started making conversation with them :

illiya : got a mingo-mingo truck outside selling icecream ouh...
Amin : *silence*
shazwan : ada ramai girls kan buying it?
Me : Aa'aa i saw loads of people out there...ada line lagi tuh
illiya : takpe jom pegi beli je

so we walked outside and headed towards the truck...as we reached the front staircase of the mosque we saw a sight of disbelief! the line was longer compared to 7 minutes ago...so we formed a circle and waited for the line to clear...suddenly out of the blue, comes one "pak-cik" probably a mosque staff worker...came to us and asked about our future and plans etc...its a standard ceramah but have a twist of religion in it :D ...when he was finished with hes random speech..the azan could be heard...

Me : Alaaaa tak sempat beli mingo-mingo!
Amin : *dah sedar skit* ice-cream tuh takkan pegi mana-mana

Bah, we made our way back into the mosque praying area and took our positions in the middle...as the 2nd rakaat was finishing...The lights suddenly went out! shouts from the children at the back could be heard in the background screaming and panicking...the Imam got up and told us to continue with the prayer...so I followed wat he said and did the Prayers In The Dark...and when I finished praying - the lights came back on! I smiled to myself and headed outside to buy mingo-mingo...but to my greater dismay the truck had dissapeared...I wanted to try mingo-mingo so badly :/

Gluttony Is A Sin II

Penang Village! nice place, nice food, nice enviroment...it seems to be a prefect place to eat...or to eat till theres no 2morrow! thats exactly what i did at Penang Village....the menu offered rice, lauk, and other condiments that melts in ur mouth as soon as the food enters it ;D ...Penang Village gets 5/5 and its conveniently located at Great Eastern Mall

Penang Village! the place where I ate till I cant eat no more

Gluttony Is A Sin :D

The ambience of the inside kinda nice

Scenery outside the glass windows of the Penang Village
I've always been a fan of food...but i kinda get the feeling that on fasting month i gain more weight rather than losing it :(

The Final Frontier Of My Life...

u know how they say age is the best experience? well in that case I should be considered as an experienced person...For 17 years I fall subsequently facing lifes never ending challenges..but among those bitter memories are happy memories...memories of a group of people like myself sitting together facing life challenges together from the simplest of things to the hardest of things...yes through thick and thin the classes that I have entered has always been the best to me..from my Blurred standard 6 class of 6 Amanah, to my Epic Form 3 class of 3 bestari...these classes has always been my 2nd home and the people in it are like my own brothers and sisters...but as I grew older the class that i entered gets limited too...now I am at the precipice of my school life...with only a few months to go till I finally end the School Scene, I am faced with the biggest loss of all...the thought of being at my Final classroom...5 Hemah is the name..with people like Syafiq,Acap,Munir,Natrah and Faris and not forgetting the rest of the bulk to light up my school life, its kinda hard to imagine life without being in the same classroom with them...they are like the wind beneath the wings and each and everyone of them are treasures that I will remember till the day I meet my maker...5 Hemah, The Final Frontier Of My Life...Its not the class who makes the pupils, But rather the pupils who make the class which is important :)

The Ink To My Pen :)

Everybody has tat special somethin...one thing tat makes them complete, the yin to thier yang. My yin is someone who may not be much but is still held dear in my heart (ye ke?)...shes no popstar, celebrity or any popular person but shes a popstar in my life...Mina Malisa is the "Ink To My Pen" :) ...through thick and thin Mina Malisa always stayed close wit me being the shoulder for me to cry on..I first met Mina when I was still young. I was walking along my street when I saw her playing outside her house. At that time I was desperate for friends so I walked up to her and asked her to be my friend. From that day onwards me and Mina became bestfriends. When we were older we would walk to the shop near our house and eat ice-cream together or lepak2 at the kiosk next to the shop (Diva)...She would give out sound advice for she is mature for her years and it shows that she was a wise person. The bond that I share wit Mina has showed me that in life everyone needs a friend. She is like the "ink to my pen" ..She has taught me never to condemn someone just because they are weird or just plain ugly. We must accept them for who they are and just go with the flow. I am truly blessed by God to have been fated to meet someone like Mina Malisa :D

Mina Malisa...not much of a looker kan? :P
